At first, place the intake manifold seals, then insert the intake manifold itself into the open space. Tighten each retaining bolt using the proper torque which is 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.). You must torque the
Throttle Body correctly to avoid any harm that could cause the throttle plate to fail. On the next step, add the O-ring to the throttle body-to-intake manifold and mount the throttle body onto the intake manifold, screwing on the four bolts to a tightness of 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Install the electrical connector and then fit both the
Fuel Rail and the EGR tube. Set the ignition coil towers in their places and join the electrical wires from the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor, Coolant Temperature (CTS) Sensor and ignition coil towers together. Assemble the Vapor purge hose, Brake booster hose and Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose to the top oil dipstick tube after fastening its retaining bolt. Fill up the cooling system, install the resonator and air inlet tube and last, attach the negative cable to the battery. Make sure to use the scan tool for the ETC Relearn function.
