Before you take out the intake manifold, you should bleed the fuel system. Tie the negative cable to an uplifted part, then remove the resonator and hose under the air inlet. Drain the coolant on the lower part of the coolant temperature sensor. Unplug the electric connector for the ETC, in addition to the electrical connectors for both the coolant temperature sensor and the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. Also, take out the vapor purge hose, the brake booster hose and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose at this stage. Lift up the ignition coil towers and remove the bolt in the center of the top oil dipstick tube. Disconnect the EGR tube and then remove the fuel rail. Assemble the Vapor purge hose, Brake booster hose and Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose to the top oil dipstick tube after fastening its retaining bolt. Fill up the cooling system, install the resonator and air inlet tube and last, attach the negative cable to the battery. Make sure to use the scan tool for the ETC Relearn function.
