How to Service and Repair a Cigarette Lighter on 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan?

To repair the Cigarette Lighter, remove the battery negative cable. Note the position of the retaining bosses. Use snap ring pliers to remove the base by squeezing the bosses. Gently rock the pliers to draw the bottom through the mounting ring, disconnect the wires from the base and remove the light ring.
