  A: Before beginning ignition coil repairs or services on the 3.3/3.8L engine, remove or place the negative battery cable on safety. Following that, remove both the throttle and speed control cables from the normal position, then remove the 2 bolts that tie the power steering reservoir to the intake manifold. Back off the nut under the power steering reservoir from the stud on the ignition coil bracket and move the reservoir to another location. Afterwards, undo the cables attached to the ignition coil and then take out the electrical connector as well. Then, take off the 2 nuts from the ignition coil studs.
