2007 Dodge Grand Caravan Air Bag Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install an Air Bag Sensor and Related Components on 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan?
A: When putting in the front impact sensor, fit the sensor correctly in the vehicle, tighten two retaining screws to 7 Nm (62 in.lbs.), link the electrical connector and lower the car from the hoist. Don't attach the negative (black) battery cable until you verify system and vehicle operation or you risk injury or death if the system test isn't done. Set the sensor bracket for side impact detection in the B-pillar, attach four screws to it with the same torque, attach the connector, install the cutout on the pillar's underside, follow the same warnings and conduct verification on both sides. With the sliding door opening mounted sensor, attach the electrical connector, position the device, use the specified torque for each retaining screw and follow the usual warnings and checks. After putting on the quarter panel sensor, link up the electrical connector, secure the two screws to the right torque, put the quarter trim panel in place for the side being served and once more check the required conditions.
