2007 Dodge Grand Caravan Intake Manifold Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove the Upper Intake Manifold on 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan?
A: Before tackling the upper intake manifold, disconnect the negative battery cable and then pull off the inlet air temperature (IAT) sensor's electrical connector. After that, take out the air inlet resonator from the throttle body hose assembly and cut off the throttle and speed control cables from the throttle body. Separate the make-up air hose hanger from the throttle cable binding; then come off the automatic idle speed motor and throttle position sensor wiring from the throttle. Take the manifold absolute pressure sensor electrical connector as well as the vapor purge vacuum hose off the throttle body. Undo the PCV hose, then take out the reservoir attaching bolts and the nut, lifting the reservoir so it comes loose from the lower mount without disconnecting the hose. Remove the brake booster and leak detection pump (LDP) hoses from the intake manifold and after removing the bolts, take the manifold off. Place a proper cover over the lower manifold when you take out the upper manifold and then check and clean the upper manifold.
