How to Remove and Repair a Control Arm on 2007 Dodge Magnum?

First, lift and prop up the vehicle, then come out the mounting nuts on the wheel and take off the tire and wheel. After that, take out the belly pan and unscrew the heat shield on the side of the damaged control arm. Unscrew the bolts that keep the retainer for the stabilizer bar bushing on the control arm, then take the halves of the retainer off the bushing. Go through the hole with a screw driver to remove the bushing from the bar. Remove the lower control arm cradle bolt from the side of the opening made by the bushing removal. Make sure the bolt is level, as its shaft may be grooved lengthwise. Fix the bolt with a wrench as you take away the nut, then pull out the bolt from the bushing and cradle while watching its placement for it to go back. Get rid of the bolt and nut attaching the lower control arm to the engine cradle, always watching the location if the bolt has grooves. After that, take out the fastening bolt from the shock assembly-to-control arm joint, unscrew the sensor wheel speed screw from the knuckle and pull out the sensor head from the knuckle. Take off the wheel speed sensor cable routing clip from the side of the brake flex hose bracket. Slacken the nut linking the ball joint stud to the lower control arm so it aligns with the top of the stud to stop distortion while we move on to the next section. Use Puller, Special Tool 9360, to push the ball joint stud out of the lower control arm, then remove the nut from the end of the stud where it connects to the knuckle. Push the knuckle down and gently take out the ball joint stud from the lower control arm, making sure the knuckle is outward. Move the control arm out of the engine cradle and remove it from your car.
