First, if the adjustment bolt under the engine cradle is a wheel alignment bolt, install it back in place as you found it. Slide the lower control arm into place inside the engine cradle and screw the mounting bolt from the rear. Put the nut on the lower control arm cradle bolt for now without tightening it. If the height of the seal boot on the ball joint knuckle is greater than 25.5 mm, tip the ball joint stud to one side, gently push on the boot in the center, push down on the boot at the top and then center the stud; check the boot height once again. Wipe off any grease on the ball joint stud, hold the knuckle down and move the lower control arm so the stud goes into the control arm. Apply a new nut to the ball joint stud to fix the lower control arm to the knuckle, tightening the nut by hand to 68 Nm plus a full 90° with a crow foot wrench. Set the sensor unit into the knuckle and connect it with a mounting screw that is secured to 11 Nm. Fit the wheel speed sensor cable and routing clip onto the brake flex hose routing bracket and go on to set in the lower shock mounting bolt to the lower control arm, but don't tighten it yet. After the assembly is in place, secure the wheel with its mounting nuts until you hear a 47 cMp click-or 62 cMp for police-and then lower the car. Lift the vehicle on an alignment rack or a drive-on lift, tighten the lower shock mounting bolt to 174 Nm and proceed to a wheel alignment. If what you are tightening is a wheel alignment maintenance bolt, rotate the bolt head so that you do not damage the bushing. Once everything looks correct, tighten the lower control arm cradle bolt to 176 Nm, while stopping the bolt from turning. On the stabilizer bar, make sure the bushing is positioned against the locating collar and be sure the slit in the bushing faces around the back of the vehicle. Put the bushing retainer halves in place around the bushing and then screw in the bolts to hold the retainer halves to the cradle, tightening them to 60 Nm. After that, place the stabilizer bar heat shield over the stabilizer bar bushing retainer and fasten it with screws and finally, put in the belly pan.
