Before switching out the exhaust manifold, begin by installing the gasket and manifold and fasten the bolts from the middle outwards to reach 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.). After that, join the exhaust pipe to the manifold and install the lower and upper heat shields. Connect the oxygen sensor electric connector after you have installed it and move on to connect the downstream oxygen sensor's connector. When the vehicle is down, place the EGR tube after attaching new gaskets and tighten the screws to 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.). Make sure you also attach the negative battery cable after everything is clean.
