2007 Dodge Magnum Power Steering Pump Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Pump for 2.7L/3.5L Engines on 2007 Dodge Magnum?
A: You should first disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery before working on the power steering pump for these engines. Remove the power steering fluid from the pump reservoir and next, remove the air cleaner housing and the inlet tube to the throttle body. After that, eliminate the serpentine drive belt and take out the hose clamp before you remove the supply hose from the pump. With the tube nut unthreaded, take out the pressure hose from the pump. Access the holes in the pulley and loosen the three pump bolts; after that, remove the pump from the engine bracket. You should remove the pulley per the proper guidelines if it's necessary to do so.
