How to Detach the Body Emblem on 2007 Dodge Nitro?

Place a length of masking tape at the top of the nameplate, next to the body, as a guide for removing the emblem. As exterior markers come on with adhesive tape, warm them with a heat gun or lamp at a safe temperature if it's below 21°C (70°F). Try not to damage the paint by tearing off the emblem from the car. To break the adhesive, use a trim stick C-4755 or any similar tool behind the emblem. Once you're done, remove any leftover adhesive from the body by using Mopar® Super Clean solvent or something similar.
