How to Service and Repair a Front Door Latch Assembly on 2007 Dodge Ram 1500?

Lift the window to its highest point and then uninstall the door panel to service and repair the front door latch. Afterward, put the waterdam to one side and take the rod away from the door latch and the interior door handle actuator by disconnecting them and removing it. Disconnect the wire harness that's attached to the door latch. Afterward, unscrew the three bolts holding the latch to the door and remove it.
