How to Install a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?

Put the rear door latch near the upper part of the door. Secure the door latch with the three bolts, tightening them to 10 Nm or 89 in. lbs. Attach the door wire harness connector to the door latch; after that, link each actuator rod to the door latch. After that, link the actuator rod to the door latch and the interior door handle actuator. Set the water dam back to the door and fit the door trim panel. If it isn't opening or closing properly, adjust the latch.
