2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Parking Brake Cable Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable for Rear on 2007 Dodge Ram 1500?
A: At first, pass the cable ends through the brake support plate's holes, until the fitting tabs on each cable end become locked. Then, verify the cable is fixed by pulling down on it. After that, insert the cable through the bracket and join the left cable fitting to the frame bracket hole. Connect the rear cables to the tensioner rod far from the front end of the brake assembly, then link them to the intermediate cable connector. Then, disconnect and remove the lock out device, carry out the park brake adjustment task and finally, take away all supports before you lower the vehicle.
