How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable for Rear on 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?

Before working with the rear brake cable, raise the vehicle on ramps and block it, disable parking brake cable(2) and then take out the cable adjustment nut. Also, take the rear park brake cable off of the intermediate park brake cable next. Compress the rear park brake cable fittings on the cable end and slide the cable up through the hold on the frame mount. Back at the rotor assembly, disconnect the park brake cable (2) and at the brake cable support plate, compress both cable tab fittings and remove each cable from its fitting.
