How to Detach a Seat Cushion on 2007 Dodge Ram 2500?

Fold down the rear seats, then get rid of the filler panels and put them into the storage compartment. Following that, separate the J-straps on the bottom of the seat back and take both hinge covers off the section you're repairing. After that, remove the lower anchor for the center seat belt and release the lower cable from the seat back holder. Let's begin by unscrewing the four bolts to get the seat back off the seat, then remove the screw from the seat back release bezel. Place a mark on where the release cables are at the cushion and take them out before you remove both pivot bolts to remove the upper and lower cushions. When this is done, open the seat release lever on the cushion, detach the J-straps securing the cover to the seat pan and lastly remove both foam and cover from the seat pan, making sure to take off the foam layer.
