2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Washer Reservoir Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Washer Reservoir on 2007 Dodge Ram 2500?
A: The first step to serve or repair the windshield washer reservoir is to separate and turn off the negative car battery cable. After that, gently pull the overflow hose away from the nipple on the radiator filler neck, without opening or draining anything yet. Then, remove the hose from the reservoir washer from the right headlamp and dash wire harness barbed indentation where the engine presents the washer fluid to drill into a clean container for reuse. Unplug both headlamp and dash connector plugs from the washer fluid switch connector receptacle and from the washer pump/motor connector receptacle. Loosen and remove the two screws that link the reservoir brackets to the top part of the radiator shroud. Grasp the washer reservoir at its bottom and pull it sharply upward until it comes free from the depression in the radiator shroud. Draw the washer reservoir toward you until the two mounting tabs at the bottom of the washer reservoir are out of the corresponding slots at the bottom of the radiator shroud. Then, carefully bring the reservoir from the engine compartment on the right side.
