How to Install a Door Latch Assembly on 2007 Dodge Ram 3500?

The front door latch should be placed into the door for installation. Secure the door latch to the door with the three bolts and tighten them to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.). Match the door wire harness connector to the door latch and link the actuator rod so that it goes from the door latch to the interior door handle actuator. Set the waterdam under the door and fasten the door trim panel into place. If it doesn't fit well, try adjusting the latch.
