How to Maintain an Electronic EGR Valve and Solenoid Assembly on 2007 Dodge Ram 3500?

You should start the service of the electronic EGR valve and solenoid assembly by unplugging the electrical connector from the EGR solenoid. Following that, unscrew the two bolts on the end of the EGR tube and remove the gasket placed between the tube flange and the valve assembly. After that, remove the two bolts that fix the valve assembly to the cylinder head. Take out and discard the metal gasket placed between the cylinder head and the valve assembly.
