How to Install a Wheel Bearing and Seal on 2007 Dodge Ram 3500?

The first step in installing an axle bearing is to clean and wipe the tube bore where it will be installed. Put the axle shaft bearing into position using Installer C-4198 and Handle C-4171, until the installer tool contacts the axle tube with the bearing facing toward you. After that, grease the lip of the new axle seal and put it in place using the Installer C-4076-B and Handle C-4735. Proceed by installing the axle shaft and subsequent cover and make sure to fill the cover with gear lubricant up to the fill plug hole.
