2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Brake Caliper Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Rear Brake Caliper for Single Rear Wheels on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500?
A: Instead of finishing the work, just temporarily bolt the single rear brake caliper (5) to the brake caliper adapter, tightening the guide pin (3) until it reaches 33 Nm (28.3 in. lbs.), noting that the brake hose should not be bound up or prohibited from its natural movement. After that, hook the brake hose (2) onto the brake caliper (5) and tighten the bolt to a torque of 14 Nm (124 in. lbs.). Attach the wear indicator (7) to the caliper and bolt it on with the wear indicator bolt (6), making sure you tighten to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.). Flush the brake system and look for any leaks. After that, install the rear wheels (1) and bring down the car.
