How to Safely Service and Repair a Rear Door Hinge on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

Before starting to service or repair the rear door hinge, remember to make sure it is safe to prevent getting hurt by anything that might move during work. There is no need to remove the entire door to change a hinge at a time and the right body sealant needs to be used when you remove or move the hinges. You should first take out the bolts 1 on the door hinge from the body and then proceed to remove the bolts 4 from the door hinge. Give the door support by placing a suitable lifting device underneath it and then mark the spot for the hinge with a grease pencil. After that, take out bolt 2 from the door hinge on the body, then remove bolt 3 from the door hinge on the door and get rid of the hinge.
