2007 Jeep Commander Car Speakers Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove Car Speakers from the Front, Instrument Panel, and Rear Doors on 2007 Jeep Commander?
A: Before taking out the front door speaker, first cut all power to the vehicle by moving the battery negative cable, then remove the front door cover and unscrew all the fasteners and then remove the speaker and disconnect it from the harness. You must disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable to turn off the air bag system, wait for two minutes and then handle the instrument panel speaker. After all that, remove the speaker grille from the panel, then the speaker from the housing and finally the connector that holds the wire harness. Again, start by disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable, taking out the door panel trim, removing the fasteners, taking the speaker out of the rear door and releasing the harness connector.
