How to Maintain and Repair a Fuel Tank on 2007 Jeep Commander?

To service the fuel tank unit, release the fuel system pressure, drain and remove the tank. Note the rotational position of the module with the help of the indexing arrow. Use Lockring Remover/Installer 9340 to remove the lockring in a counter-clockwise direction. Carefully extract the module, being careful not to bend the float arm.
