2007 Jeep Commander Cruise Control Servo Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove the Cruise Control Servo Assembly on 2007 Jeep Commander?
A: The first task when removing the speed control servo assembly is to take off the negative battery cable from the battery. After that, detach the vacuum hose at the servo and the power lead at the servo. Unlock the servo from its anchor bolt and unconnect the servo's cable at the throttle body. Following this, take out the mounting nuts that secure the servo cable sleeve to the bracket. Hold back the speed cable sleeve and servo from the mounting bracket to expose the retaining clip, then take the clip off. Also, be sure to take the servo off the mounting bracket and keep in mind its direction.
