How to Remove the Upper Control Arm on 2007 Jeep Compass?

Before taking out the upper control arm, raise and prop up the vehicle safely. After that, loosen the wheel mounting nuts (3) and take out the whole tire and wheel assembly (1). Detach the nut (4) and bolt (3) securing the upper control arm (1) to the trailing link and then unscrew bolt (2) that attaches the arm to the crossmember. Next, take out the upper control arm (1).
