Q: How to Locate and Remove the Coolant Temperature Sensor on a 3.7L Engine on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: The 3.7L engine has an Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor that is located in the water jacket in the intake manifold. To eliminate it, empty part of the cooling system, remove the electrical connector and the sensor of the manifold in order to avoid being hurt by hot coolant.
