2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Intake Manifold Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install an Intake Manifold and Its Components on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: First, put on the intake manifold gaskets, then pull the intake manifold into place. Fix the intake manifold in place with its special bolts, tightening each one in the described order to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.). After that, place the fuel rail and EGR tube and then install the retaining bolt for the top oil dipstick tube. Torquing the throttle body correctly is necessary and when finished, attach the throttle body to the intake manifold, using the O-ring and tighten the bolts to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). You should then connect the electrical connectors for the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor, Coolant Temperature (CTS) Sensor and ignition coil towers and fit the ignition coil towers. Following that, set up the generator and the compressor for the air conditioning system and join the Vapor purge hose, Brake booster hose and PCV hose. Connect the ETC connector to the throttle body, add fluid to the cooling system and raise the engine using support fixture # 8534. After putting in the right side engine mount bolt, you should take off the engine support fixture. After that, attach the resonator assembly and the air inlet hose, return the negative cable to the battery and carry out the ETC Relearn function with your scan tool.
