How to Maintain and Fix a Muffler on a 3.7L/4.7L Engine on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Raise the 3.7L/4.7L vehicle, hold its rear by the side rails and allow the axle to dangle. Coat the bolts and nuts with heat valve lubricant, then wait 5 minutes for them to be well soaked. Insert a jackstand where the rear wheel joins the rear axle and take off the right rear shock. After that, remove the nuts from the front exhaust/catalytic converter and the grounding strap underneath the body. Afterwards, unhook the tailpipe/muffler assembly from the isolators and take out the muffler/tailpipe assembly from the car.
