How to Address Issues with the Steering Column Cover on a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The first step to servicing the steering column cover is to separate and isolate the battery's negative cable. Then, remove the three bolts from the dash and pull out the hush panel on the driver's side. Pull the upper clips apart using a trim stick C-4755 or similar, turn the cover downwards and then release the bottom hinges to separate the opening cover. In the end, bring the cover down to the carpet, grab the lower edge and lift and move backward to remove each of the lower hinge pins.
