Before dealing with the drive belt tensioner for the gas engine, raise the vehicle above you on a hoist. After that, remove the belt splash shield (3) and detach the accessory drive belt. After that, take out the mounting bolt for the accessory drive belt tensioner and get rid of the tensioner itself (8).
