2007 Jeep Patriot Drain Plug Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Properly Handle a Drain Plug on a 2007 Jeep Patriot?
A: In order to service the radiator drain plug, first drain the cooling system. Turning the draincock counterclockwise then turning it back 1/8 turn and pulling it from the radiator tank. Don't try to use pliers to remove it in case you damage it, and don't worry about taking off the draincock as routine coolant drains don't require it.
