How to Install the New Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2007 Jeep Patriot?

To install the new Powertrain Control Module (PCM) reprogram the module with the original VIN and mileage of the vehicle using a scan tool. Fix module with three bolts at 9 Nm torques, inspect electrical connectors for damage, reconnect, install air cleaner box, reconnect negative battery cable.
