When the sensor is taken off, clean the exhaust manifold threading with an 18 mm X 1.5 + 6E tap. If you plan to use your old sensor, coat the threads with Loctite 771-64 or a different anti-seize compound, because the new sensors are pre-coated; you needn't apply an extra layer of anti-seize for them. Use a crow foot wrench, especially Snap-On tool YA8875 or an equal, to tighten the sensor to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Link the sensor's electrical harness to the clips on the machine body and connect the electrical connector to the sensor. After that, lower your vehicle and fit the negative battery cable.
