How to Maintain and Fix the Hood Cable on 2007 Jeep Patriot?

Before servicing or repairing the hood cable, disconnect it from the hood latch. Then, take out the cable from the latch and open the push pin fasteners. Following that, take out the cowl trim panel. Afterward, undo the screws and take off the handle from the cowl. Fingers up: Remove the cable from the cowl panel that's inside the car.
