Is It Possible to Replace the Hood Hinge Without Detaching the Hood on 2007 Jeep Patriot?

To replace hood hinges, you do not have to remove the hood. Mark the hinge position with a grease pencil, prop up the hood and take the bolts holding the hinge to the fender off. Finally, remove the nuts that fasten the hinge to the hood.
