• Q: How to Properly Install a Fog Light Bulb Without Causing Damage on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

  A: When having to replace the fog/driving lamp bulb, the bulb size and type must be used at all times to avoid overheating and damage to the lamp, socket, and the wiring. One should avoid putting your fingers on the bulb glass or letting them touch oily materials to avoid getting a short life bulb. Insert the bulb (3) only into the keyed opening on the back of the front fog lamp housing(1) to line up the bulb terminals with the keyways. Hold the back housing and insert the bulb until seated, and rotate the bulb clockwise approximately 30 degrees whereby the bulb connector receptacle will straighten out to the horizontal position, locking into place. Relay the wire harness connector (4) to the bulb connector receptacle in the engine compartment. Unless the front bumper lower air dam is not present then fit it on to the vehicle. Put the vehicle down and connect the negative battery cable once again.
