How to Service and Repair a Window Regulator for the Rear Door on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

You should first bring the rear door glass down before you try to service or repair the regulator. Take off the trim panel. Carefully take out the glass disconnect holes plugs when you have one if your boat has them. Take off both glass retainer tabs and take out the glass clip from the regulator lift plate. Next, put the glass into the full up position and secure it with tape or its equivalents. After that, take off the lower B-pillar trim. Cut loose the connection between the door wire harness and the B-pillar and take out the check strap from where it's connected to the hook. Loosen the screws and divide the wires from the door's push pins. Take out the screws that attach the handle to the door and take out the latch screws. Unfasten the foam edge and remove the exterior handle fasteners from the access opening in the carrier plate. After that, unscrew the carrier plate screws and pull out the carrier plate assembly from the door.
