How to Maintain a Window Regulator on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?

Before you can service the window regulator, take out the door glass. Once that's done, use a socket to release the bolts from the holes with slots. Then, extract the bolts securing the regulator to the door inner panel. Open the motor by lifting the regulator from the cutouts in the door, move it down slightly and pull it out through the access hole in the door. For installation, hold the regulator against the door and check that all the regulator bolts fit into the provided slots. Secure the regulator to the inner door panel with the bolts, then tighten them in the slotted holes prior to installing the door glass.
