How to Remove the Automatic Transmission Shifter Assembly on 2008 Chrysler 300?

In order to remove the shifter assembly access the shift lever and cables by removing parts of the console. Make sure that the transmission is in PARK and then disconnect the shift cable and wiring connectors. Remove the nuts holding the assembly to the floor pan and finally, remove the shifter assembly from the vehicle.
