How to Service and Repair an Automatic Transmission Shifter on 2009 Chrysler 300?

In order to fix the floor mount shifter, take off console parts to get it. Make sure the transmission is in the PARK position, disconnect the shift cable then take out the retainer. Before removing the shifter assembly out of the vehicle, disengage the wiring connectors then remove nuts that hold the shifter assembly to the floor pan.
