How to Service and Repair a Door Latch Assembly on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?

Take off the watershield first to service or repair the latch for the rear door. After that, remove both latch actuator rods 3 and 4 from their connections. Remove the screws marked 5 and extract the latch showing as 1. In the end, disconnect electrical connector 2.
