How to Replace a Door Hinge Without Taking Off the Door on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?

Replacing rear door hinges on both sides means you do not have to remove the door and the washers stay connected to guarantee the door remains adjusted. When you remove or move the hinges, use a cooperative body sealant. The process starts with you opening the front door. On the upper hinge, use a grease pencil to note the starting and ending places on both the door and B-pillar. After you take out the nuts attaching the hinge to the door, remove the three bolts on the hinge that are connected to the B-pillar as well. For the lower hinge, trace its spot on the door and B-pillar with a grease pencil and then take out the rear B-pillar trim. Then, unscrew the two nuts at the hinge on the door and unfasten the two bolts linking the hinge to the B-pillar. Once inside, unhook the remaining bolt on the hinge that's attached to the B-pillar and remove the hinge.
