The first step is to set the rubber bezel and grommet into the space in the outer liftgate panel where you pulled them out earlier for service or repair. It is important to fasten the three rivet nuts that secure the rear wiper motor and bracket to the inner panel and that they are undamaged. Attach the motor to the liftgate first and then put all three mounting screws in place, using a torque wrench to tighten them until you reach 8 Nm (72 in. lbs.). Secure the power wire harness connector to the motor connector hole and place the trim panel back in the liftgate inner panel. Insert the rear wiper arm back onto the output shaft after that and then reconnect the battery negative cable.
