How to Service and Repair an Air Injection Pump on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?

Before beginning service or repair of the air injection pump, first remove the negative battery cable. After that, take out the air cleaner housing, then break the connection between the air pump switchover tube and the air pump harness connector. When those steps are done, remove the retaining bolt for the air pump and take the air pump out of the bracket.
