  A: Take off the door trim panel to reach and service the front door check. After that, remove the door speaker by unscrewing the screws holding it to the door. Be careful to peel the door foil from the front of the inner door panel and install new sections when needed. Get rid of the plastic over the check strap bolt, but be sure not to harm the paint in the process. Take off the screw with a torx screwdriver and then remove the retaining plate. Release the check strap from the door by unbolting it from the door. After that, remove the seal from the door check strap and take out the door check strap through the hole in the door panel.
