  A: First, unhook the negative battery cable and pull back the engine cover for fuel injector service and repairs. Removal of the wiring harness cover retaining screw and then covering the wiring harness is the following step. Place a fuel pressure tester into the fuel rail service valve and let the excess fuel flow into the container. Once you have separated the line to the fuel tank, separate the clip holding the fuel injector wire harness connector and remove the wire harness from the injectors. Unscrew the retaining bolts from the fuel rail and lift it gently, while moving it from one side to the other. After that, pull out the fuel injector retaining clips and get the fuel injectors off the fuel rail.
