  A: When working on the fuel rail, don't forget that the fuel system is under pressure, so release it before working. Take off the engine cover and screw retaining the wiring harness cover and after that, remove the wiring harness cover as well. It helps to place a shop towel over the fuel lines to pick up any extra fuel. With the gas pressure still low, press the fuel rail service valve and let the gas pressure flow out. Remove the fuel feed line from the fuel rail, then take off the retaining clips for the fuel injector harness connectors and unplug these connectors from the fuel injectors. After the bolts are removed, carefully lift the fuel rail and fuel injectors together by sliding side to side and upward.
