How to Maintain Your Thermostat for Optimal Performance on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?

Before servicing the engine coolant thermostat, remove the air cleaner housing. You should then drain some of the coolant and cut the tie that connects the top radiator hose. Since the therostat housing and thermostat form a simple assembly, both of them are serviced together. In the end, remove the bolts holding the thermostat housing in place and bring out the thermostat and housing.
