  A: The first thing to do when servicing or repairing the throttle body is to unclip the negative battery cable. After that, uncover the engine by taking both corners and pulling them upward. After that, remove the throttle body inlet tube and disconnect the harness plug connecting the throttle body (3). After that, separate the PCV hose (1) from the throttle body. Go ahead and take out the bolts that keep the throttle body in place and remove the PCV hose bracket. Take out the throttle body (5) and the gasket from the engine as well at the end.
