  A: Start by disconnecting the negative battery cable and letting the coolant run until it's empty. Next, get rid of the engine cover, radiator fan and accessory drive belt, then take out the idler pulley and tensioner for the belt. After that, remove the vibration damper and free the lower radiator and heater hoses from the water pump. Remove the power steering pump, the AIR pump and the cylinder head covers now. After finishing with the front cam gears, release the cylinder head, the bolts holding the timing chain cover and the generator. Lift up the vehicle carefully and after that, remove the oil pans and the starter. Move the crankshaft to 40°. Place Special Tool 9102 into the starter opening to use ATDC and lock the flywheel. Remove the tensioner for the timing chain and all the bolts holding on the timing chain cover after that.
